Description:

Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer 2 specializing in Angular development to build enterprise-scale user interfaces for its global travel technology ecosystem in Bangalore. Operating within a hybrid model, you will take ownership of creating, upgrading, and maintaining modern, scalable web applications using recent versions of Angular. Rather than simple visual layouts, this role involves structuring complex state management, optimizing rendering workflows, and integrating with robust relational databases. You will collaborate directly with engineering and product squads to translate travel domain specifications into reliable frontend components while maintaining high system stability through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI pipelines.

Requirements:

• Around 3+ years of professional software development experience focused on engineering enterprise-level B2B or B2C web applications.
• Direct hands-on mastery of Angular (v15 or above), including specialized development in TypeScript, asynchronous stream management with RxJS, and global state architecture via NgRx.
• Advanced styling and script proficiency using modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and layout component frameworks like Material UI.
• A solid conceptual bridge to backend architectures, showing familiarity with database querying across engines like Oracle or MS SQL, data formats (JSON), and dependency managers like Maven.
• Practical command over object-oriented design patterns, modular architecture, version control via Git, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong ability to parse client-side performance degradation, debug complex runtime console anomalies, and optimize bundle sizes for rapid page loads.
• Refined soft skills to present technical architectural changes cleanly to business stakeholders and maintain high alignment inside cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
